JOSEPHIAN PROGRAMME > Overarching Ideas

In the Josephian Programme, our approach to educating the young under our charge is centred on the idea of developing each boy according to his talent and interest. We believe that each boy is unique and important to help him achieve his potential by tapping on his strengths and interests.

Therefore we aim to develop each Josephian into “T-shaped individuals” – with a broad based foundation development, coupled with nurturing of talent of interest in at least one area of passion. Our programmes and activities are also centred around the idea of preparing ach boy for the real world. We also believe that education is about preparing each boy to thrive in the real world beyond school.

That is why the Josephian Programme focuses on helping Josephians to “Learn how to Learn” and to “Learn how to Live”, with a strong focus on key life skills such as communication, critical thinking, self-directed learning and people skills.

Our intended outcome

  • Great people skills
  • Strong Communicator
  • Unique individual with strong passions
  • Reflective and self directed learner
  • Thinker and problem solver
  • Leader and community builder
  • Strives for Meaning
